MedVet Cancer Center for Pets is a Specialty Service within MedVet, the Medical Center for PetsMedVet specialists are individuals with advanced training and experience in a specific field of medicine. Similar to your primary veterinarian, specialists begin their training with 4 years of undergraduate study followed by 4 years of veterinary school. In addition, specialists are required to complete competitive internship and residency program typically requiring 3 to 5 years of additional training. Specialists receive board certification by fulfilling clinical training, research, scientific publications, and extensive examination requirements. Each of our specialty practices has been designed with the patient in mind. Our specialists are at the top of their field and their knowledge and experience is matched only by their compassion and dedication to their patients. |
