The mission of Chippy's Pet Cancer Assistance Fund is to raise money through charitable donations in order to specifically provide financial assistance to pet parents/owners who would otherwise be unable to provide treatment to their pets diagosed with cancer.

Chippy's Pet Cancer Assistance Fund is a non-profit organization located in the greater Columbus, Ohio area. Our organization is registered with the Ohio Secretary of State and we are in the process of obtaining our 501(c)(3) status.

Chippy's Fund is community-based, working directly with MedVet Cancer Center for Pets, as we have so much to do right here as a local, neighborhood fund. In this cause, it takes everyone in our community to make a difference. We need your help through donations to make it happen!

 How Did We Get Here?

When Chippy got sick we didn't know anything about lymphoma in pets. Like most   people these days, we searched the internet for trusted sources that would provide us with valuable information. We weren't even sure what we needed to know; diet, treatment options, length of life, survival rate, etc.  It wasn't easy. Thankfully we had outstanding doctors and medical staff who answered all our questions.

We had the finances as well. However, while sitting at the animal cancer center you come to realize the depth of the problem. So many dogs and cats battle cancer and treatment can be very expensive. You can't help wonder how far financially some parents/owners will be able to go in helping their pet(s) fight this terrible disease. Some simply cannot.

 Chippy to the Rescue!

We decided almost immediately after Chippy was laid to rest that we were going to do what we could to  financially assist those who could not afford to treat their pets (as long as the pet, according to the MedVet Oncology team, was not suffering). Chippy's Fund was created!

Chippy is (and will always be) the inspiration in our commitment and determination to continue raising money so Chippy's Pet Cancer Assistance Fund is able to financially assist our pet cancer patients in need!
